Decathlon Ireland (decathlon.ie) is the Irish arm of the global Decathlon chain, selling affordable equipment, apparel and footwear across dozens of sports. Expect strong own brands like Quechua and Kalenji, online shopping with click & collect and service-led store support across Ireland.
Why choose
Product focus
Running & training
Decathlon Ireland's running range (Kalenji) covers technical t-shirts, shorts, trainers and accessories for beginners through club runners. Products focus on moisture-wicking fabrics, visibility details and broad size runs for men, women and juniors. Online pages include specs and customer feedback, and many Irish stores stock demo pairs so you can try shoes and use free click & collect to pick up purchases locally.
Camping & hiking
Outdoor gear centres on Quechua and Forclaz kit: sleeping mats, backpacks, compact two-person tents and waterproof outerwear built for quick setup and packability. Technical specs list weight, season rating and pack size so you can compare models for weekend wild camping or multi-day treks. Seasonal sales often discount starter camping bundles, making it simple to outfit a family on a budget.
Cycling & bikes
Decathlon stocks commuter, gravel, mountain and road bikes plus helmets, lights and repair tools. Larger Irish outlets run bike workshops for assembly, tune-ups and puncture repairs; staff can advise frame sizing and test rides where available. In-house bike ranges prioritise affordable durability, and you can usually add accessory upgrades or professional setup at store service points.
