Founded in 1984 in Macclesfield, scotts began life as a local destination for sports gear. The store quickly gained a reputation among young fashion-forward lads for its selection of branded footwear and clothing. It became the go-to store for casual sports fashion, delivering brand authority, with a carefully curated mix of timeless brands such as adidas Originals, Lacoste and Fred Perry in their roster.

As time moved on, so too did scotts, serving clothing to a number of unique cultural movements across the worlds of sport and music, many of which have remained important to the company's identity to this day.
